This week's creation is a name sampler requested by a local shopkeeper. The fairy was fun to do but the rest was a bit boring as these were just straight forward stitches. Can't wait until my Christmas stitching is over and I can spend time on more experimental work - lots of ideas floating in my head.

Christmas stocking
I've just finished a Christmas stocking for my gorgeous niece, I really enjoyed working with the pom pom ribbon. The heart ribbon is pretty cute too. While I loved doing the embroidery, making the stocking itself was a bit fiddly as it is fully lined - I have to find a quicker way of doing this.

Christmas Sack
This week I've finished making a Christmas present sack that a local shop owner asked me to make. Apart machine sewing the sides and top the rest has been hand sewn. I love the small robins, they worked really well.
I've just finished an embroidery qualification and intend to use this blog to record the stuff I make to ensure that I keep sewing and not get distracted by the wonderful views of Glyn Y Mynydd or by wavering health.
